IGM Advisers closed a deal to attract Kusto Group as an investor in the first pet food production facility for dogs and cats in Central Asia
|

Kusto Group is an international diversified investment and industrial holding company headquartered in Singapore. The group’s turnover exceeds $1 billion. Its interests span agriculture, construction, real estate and retail, oil and gas, and logistics. For example, the marble beef produced under the KazBeef brand, one of Kusto Group’s business lines, is highly valued in Kazakhstan and on export markets.

The new KazPetFood plant will be the first production facility in Central Asia for dry and wet pet food as well as treats for dogs and cats, built to advanced technologies and quality standards. The estimated investment in the project is $50 million, with a payback period of 8 years. The plant’s products are primarily oriented toward export, but will also be offered in a wide range on the Kazakhstani market.

Senior Partner of IGM Advisers Group, Maxim Handrabura, accompanied the project initiators at all key stages: from developing the financial and economic model and preparing the investment proposal to structuring the deal and signing the investment agreement.
